Each spring, the American Marketing Association’s Houston Chapter (AMA Houston) hosts its annual Crystal Awards gala.
This is a celebration of winning marketing campaigns from across the city and is the largest marketing awards gala in Houston, with over 300 guests, representing more than 80 Houston area companies in attendance.
For the 2026 40th-Year Anniversary Celebration, AMA Houston is seeking a new venue and would like to invite you to bid to host the Crystal Awards reception and sponsor the event in May 2026.
Our target date is Thursday, May 14, 2026.
Responses must be submitted by October 6, 2026, and final venue will be selected by October 20, 2026.

Event Day Timeline
Proposed Date: Thursday, May 14, 2026
- 5:00 – 5:30, guest arrival and check in
- 5:30 – 7:15, cocktail reception/finalist gallery viewing
- 7:15 – 7:30, dinner chimes and seating
- 7:30 – 9:30, dinner, entertainment, and awards
Other Requests
Miscellaneous:
- Use of on site parking for AMA co-chairs, A/V team (up to 5 vehicles) from 9am – 11pm day of event
- Quote for valet service
- Quote for any security fees/officers
Meeting Space Requirements
Meeting Space must have the following:
- Pre-function space for gallery, cocktail reception, sponsor booths & attendee registration
- Minimum 2 cash bars + attendants/bartenders
- Green room space for pre-event storage, meeting space for committee members
- Minimum of two (2) 12×24 staging/risers
- Linens, centerpieces & décor enhancements
- For dinner: black chair covers and sashes
- For staging: piping and draping to screen staging for air wall (if required)
- Podium
- DJ area
- Projector
- AV setup
